Only had 30 minutes for this show, and it wasn’t enough!
Ms. Hollis Bulleit was in the studio to talk about her families Bourbon and much more. www.bulleitbourbon.com
Hollis was born in Fairfax Virgina to a vietnam veteran working at the IRS with Bourbon dreams and a woman who had the looks and vivacity of Janice, the puppet who played the guitar for the Muppet Show Band. The young Ms. Hollis spent many a late night dining with her parents making napkin masterpieces out of a compact watercolor set and matches. Most of her adolescent years were spent in Kentucky collecting swimming trophies and being the only hick to wear legwarmers in the 80’s. After a decade long scholastic career, followed by forming her own business in children’s murals, Hollis put her distillery experience to use and now consults for the Bulleit Distilling Co. for a good part of the year.
Good Life Guy’s Wine Bourbon of the week: Bulleit Bourbon
Bulleit Bourbon is made by following the small-batch technique inspired by Augustus Bulleit over 150 years ago. Only the highest quality ingredients are used. Bulleit Bourbon’s subtlety and complexity stem from its unique blend of rye, corn and barley malt, along with special strains of yeast. Because Bulleit Bourbon is especially high in rye content, it has a bold and spicy character with a distinctively smooth, clean finish. DRINK RESPONSIBLY. IT’S THE MARK OF A GENTLEMAN.
